Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Bible Peace mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Bible Peace, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Bible Peace is a free, offline-first Bible reference application that provides access to Bible scriptures in multiple languages, a daily verse feature, Bible reading, prayer tools, and a personal journal. All Bible content is displayed for personal, educational, and spiritual reference purposes only.
Bible Peace does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice.
The scriptures, reflections, and content displayed in the App are provided for general spiritual and educational reference only. They are not a substitute for professional consultation. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, medical emergency, or legal matter, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service immediately.
The App is not an emergency service. In case of immediate danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services now (e.g., 911 in the USA, 999 in the UK, 112 in the EU, 119 in Japan, 119 in South Korea).
The "Talk with the Bible" feature accepts text input from the user and returns relevant Bible verses based on keywords and topics. This feature:

Bible Peace uses Bible translations that are in the public domain or licensed under open licenses. Full attribution for each translation is available within the App under "Credits / Licenses." Key license terms:
The Bible Peace application, its design, code, user interface, and original written content (excluding Bible text) are the intellectual property of Artistic Life Research. All rights reserved.
The fonts used in the App (Cormorant Garamond and Lato) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Artistic Life Research does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Artistic Life Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, such exclusions or limitations apply only to the fullest extent permitted by that law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
The App presents Bible texts and spiritual reflections for personal reference. The content does not represent the official position of any religious denomination, church, or institution. Users of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. The App does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, gender, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
The App is suitable for general audiences and is not specifically directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise use by minors. The App does not knowingly collect personal data from any user, including minors.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The App does not collect, store on any server, or transmit personal data.
Artistic Life Research reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hiroshima, Japan.
